Painting: Brothers British Airborne

Anyone would think I haven't painted anything for awhile - and quite frankly they'd be right! The dark days of January are now behind and my challenge for February is to start on the Fallschirmjager army both in terms of painting/modelling and back ground/back story.

In the mean time my brother has been at it full tilt and has expanded his British army to include an airborne element - I think 'A bridge too Far' has a lot to answer for in his development of both a 'Market' - Airborne-  and a Garden - Ground forces-  section to his army! - I'm not entirely sure where the home guard section fitted in, but sometimes the rule of cool and buying miniatures you love trumps historical accuracy. 

So while the world waits for my progress here's a showcase of his latest additions:

 

I think there's a lot of catching up, best go find those paints and brushes.....
